Cairo - Minieh - Abydos - Luxor - Alexandria

Day 1 Cairo

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet & assist by our representative, transfer to Mena House Oberoi Palace Hotel 5* dinner & overnight.

 

Day 2 Cairo

After breakfast, departure by a/c car to visit The Pyramids the most famous tombs built in the fourth dynasty of Egypt’s old kingdom Lunch in Marriott Hotel, built by khedive Ismail as a special guesthouse for Empress Eugenie during the celebration of inauguration of the Suez Canal. then The Manial Palace built for Prince Mohamed Ali (The first cousin of King Farouk and the younger brother of khedive Abbas II) between 1899 & 1929 the palace was built to commemorate and eternalize Islamic Art,it’s considered among the most important Palace since it represents a crucial period in modern Egyptian history and portrays in detail the life of the Royal family,

Day 3 Cairo

After breakfast, departure by a/c car to visit Abbdeen Palace one of the most famous palaces erected during the reign of Mohamed Al Pasha’s dynasty, and was the seat of the seat of the government between 1872 and 1952, the palace was built in 1863 under the order of Khedive Ismail. Today the Abdeen Palace complex stands as evidence of Egypt’s active role over time. Proceed to the citadel  where you will visit El Gawhara Palace constructed in 1814 it’s an example of the best early century Ottoman decoration and architecture, it’s collection includes 19th.

Century royal portraits, costumes and furnishing also in the citadel you will visit The Harem Palace was built in 1827 and reflects the Levantine style of Mohamed Ali .it was the residence of the royal family until 1874 then it was converted into a museum in 1946 and showed the military history of Egypt and at the end of your visit to the Citadel you will visit the tomb of Mohamed Ali Pasha. Lunch in El Azhar Park, designed by Aga Khan surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo including a wonderful panoramic view of the area. Then after a small walk in Khan El Khalili you will visit an example of a private Egyptian home of the 17th. Century called El Suhaymi House, the house purchased in 1796, there are various separate staircase entries and about thirty chambers on various level, on the street side of the house, the women’s bedroom windows have a mashrabiyya screens, while in the rear screened and latticed windows. Day 4 Cairo - Menia

After breakfast, departure to Menia Upon arrival Menia, visit Tel El Amarna this city built by Akhenaton when he left the city of Thebes and built this isolated city there you will see six royal tombs are located at the north side and the other nineteen of them are located at the south side making the 25 tombs excavated in the city.

Most of the accessible tombs are among the northern group. Also you will visit the North Palace, it is locally called the Palace Of Nefertiti. Check-in Mercure Hotel 4*. dinner & overnight.

Day 5 Menia - Abydos - Luxor

After breakfast, departure by a/c car to Luxor passing by Abydosto visit The Royal Tombs (from dynasty 0 and the early 1st. dynasty, and in the south tomb complexes of six kings and one queen from 1st. dynasty and 2 kings from the 2nd.

Dynasty)then visit Ramsses II House (during the construction of the temple of Seti I at Abydos he died and all the construction was unfinished, his son Ramsses II decided to complete the temple of his father so he built a house near the temple to observe the completing of his father temple, this house is made of mud break, in a particular location, higher 3 meter than the level of the temple). Day 6 Luxor - Alexandria

After breakfast, departure by a/c car to visit the west bank of Luxor. Starting by the Valley of Kings the isolated valley is dominated by the natural pyramid-shaped mountain. It consists of two branches, the east &the west valley with the former containing most of the royal burial sites.  The second stop is The Valley of Queens where are at least 75 tombs,

they belonged to queens of the 19th & 20thdynasties and other members of the royal families including princesses. The last visit is Madinet Habu to visit the palace of Ramsses III (during the construction of the temple of Habu , Ramsses III ordered to build to him a palace in the western side of the temple to control the builders The palace is very large with a terrace located in front of the wall, constructed from mud break you will see also there  several halls, rooms for his Hareem group till now you can observe the location of the rooms, and the corridor). Back to hotel for lunch then transfer to the train station, boarding in the sleeping train to Alexandria.

Day 7 Alexandria

Arrive Alexandria, visit the Royal Jewelry Palace, it has a magnificent collection of the jewelry accumulated by Mohamed Ali and his descendants as well as statues and paintings. Originally the palace of Fatma El Zahraa, it is an architectural master piece.

Lunch in restaurant proceed to visit the Montaza Area where we can find The Montaza Complex Palace & The Salamelk Palace built by Khedive Abbass Helmi II in 1852 as a hunting lodge, during the reign of king Fouad I the son of Khedive Abass El Salamlek served as a guesthouse and under the reign of king Farouk the palace became a summer office and guesthouse for the king’s most valued guest. When the palace was turned into El Salamlek Palace Hotel, nine year were spent renovating and decoration the palace in order to recreate the luxury and glamour of the royal.

Day 8 Alexandria - Cairo - Final departure

After breakfast, departure by a/c car to Cairo. Arrive Cairo stop over the famous Palace of the Baron – General Edward Louis Joseph Empain (1852-1929) constructed by the French architect Alexandre Marcel, the palace eclectic forms evoke Hindu palace architecture, and can be seen in the context of an early 20th. Century cairned revival of various historical styles. Proceed to the International Airport  for the final departure
